JERI HOWLAND is an endurance athlete, multi-sport coach, entrepreneur, and fundraiser who has been competing in triathlons across the globe for 30 years.  In 2004, she had the race of her life and set an age group world record at Ironman Austria with a time of 10 hours, 40 minutes. She’s completed 19 Ironman distance triathlons and won her age group in seven of them. She has nine finishes at the Hawaii Ironman World Championships in Kona and has completed 25ultra-marathons, winning her age group all but twice. Jeri is a two-time overall female champion of the Quadruple Dipsea, a grueling Marin County favorite, and the 2009 Mt. Tam Triple Crown Female Champion. She also competes at skate skiing, a passion that enabled her to meet her husband, the “other” Jerry, also a top Dipsea runner and former President of the Marin County Bicycle Coalition. To fuel all of these activities, not to mention the work to raise “millions” at her day job, she created Bungalow Munch Organic Granola, now  a 5 year-old granola company with nation-wide distribution.

As a professional fundraiser for the past 26 years, there are two current issues that truly matter to Jeri: inequity in public education and the climate crisis. She has raised over $26 million for public education reform. Today, Jeri's "day" job is Development Director at Rainforest Action Network, working at the intersection of forest destruction, the climate crisis, and human rights.
